The Waste Discharge Requirements (WDR) issued by the State Water Resources Control Board makes it a requirement for La Mesa Food Service Establishments (FSEs) to implement measures to control fats, oils and grease from entering the City's wastewater collection system.
If you own, operate or manage a business in La Mesa where unpackaged food items are processed, handled, prepared, served or sold you may be required by the La Mesa FOG Ordinance to obtain a FOG Discharge Permit from the City of La Mesa.

Complete and print the permit application form and mail along with your payment to the City of La Mesa FOG Program.
