When does the City Council meet?
The Council meets regularly on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. and on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Public hearings are usually held at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are held in the Council Chambers located at La Mesa City Hall, 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa. The Council also holds adjourned sessions and special meetings as necessary.

The Council meetings are also broadcast live on Cox Cable Channel 24 (within La Mesa City limits) and on AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 (in the San Diego Region).
